Katrina swept up a group of artists living in New Orleans & landed them in Austin, Tx. Paul Soileau was among them, and he brought a different different kind of sparkle to the Austin Gay Community. It was a different kind of art, dance party, stage, and a different kind of drag queen. Those many of us less unconventional queers flocked to Paul’s events. He started a community for us fringe fags & weirdo Austin artists. He was behind such iconic events as Camp Camp, GayBiGayGay, Outsiders Fest, & Queerbomb. Like Dorthy brought color to Oz, Paul is Austin’s Dorthy. Sadly, he is moving to NYC, so I decided to make this as a tribute to one of the sweetest, and artistic souls I’ve even met. Whether you prefer to catch a balls in your face (literally) performance from CHRISTEENE VALE, or if ya liked to saddle up for that lovely lady of the show, Rebecca Havemeyer, dancing on and across tables every time B-11 (BEYONCE) got rolled during SHITTY KITTY BIG BALL BINGO, one thing is ever presently clear…

ATX will miss you, and so will I!!!!!
