Darex spent his youth protecting his people by fighting in more wars than he can count. He's retired to Asemsa, the planet where mature Majaki fighters live the rest of their lives in peace... and claim mates.

He can't claim the red haired Earth scientist unless he agrees to her deal. She needs him to be Santa Claus. He will say, "ho, ho, ho" and hand out gifts to the humans if it makes her happy.
