Matthias has got his dearest wish. His parents have retired from the farm, his brother,Chad has taken off to who knows where, and his sister, Ashton has taken up an offer to reside at a riding accademy - that leaves Matthias free to run the farm as he's always wanted.

But being in full control means he is also fully responsible for keeping the farm in good running order, something he finds out, all too soon, is not as easy as it sounds.

But all this pales into insignificance when his personal life seems to take on a life of its own.

Pam is the girl he grew up with, the one that all and sundry expect him to marry. Fenella is the daughter of a wealthy newpaper mogul and she has decided that Matt is just the man she needs.

Can Matt hold on to the farm through difficult financial times, and will he make the right choice between the two women who are viing for his love?
