APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
To say that Alice Feeney keeps you on your toes throughout her thrilling third novel is something of an understatement. Indeed, just when you think you might have got to the bottom of this chilling, twisting story, His & Hers changes tack and forces you to question everything all over again. The plot begins when Anna, a BBC News journalist, is sent to report on the disturbing murder of a woman in a quiet English village. When she meets Jack, the local policeman investigating, their connections to the woman—and to each other—rapidly begin to unspool. Switching between their voices (and their occasionally unreliable versions of events), the dark secrets of their past become clear. But it’s the addition of a third narrator—the chillingly unrepentant murderer—that gives His & Hers its edge. You’ll race through this superb thriller trying to find answers, but when Feeney delivers her masterful, stunning twist—we guarantee you won’t see it coming.
