'Every human being should read this book' Simon Sinek
One of the outstanding classics to emerge from the Holocaust, Man's Search for Meaning is Viktor Frankl's story of his struggle for survival in Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps. Today, this remarkable tribute to hope offers us an avenue to finding greater meaning and purpose in our own lives.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Arising from his own experiences as a prisoner in the Auschwitz concentration camp, revered Austrian psychiatrist Viktor E. Frankl’s classic maps out his ideas about love, resilience and fulfilment. “Being human always points, and is directed, to something or someone, other than oneself—be it a meaning to fulfill or another human being to encounter”, writes Frankl. This account of one man’s journey to find his life’s purpose in the midst of horrific suffering is as inspirational today as it was when it was first published in 1946.
Customer Reviews
A very good read on self-transcendance
I found this book in the most difficult moment of my life, and it offered me an invaluable lesson on self-transcendence and the attitude to take when faced with unbearable suffering in what has been for me the momentum of my existence.
Very very basic
And a bit outdated.
