Night of the Coons

On a sweltering summer night in a Chicago neighborhood, a child is attacked and bitten by a raccoon. Tasha, the child’s neighbor is stunned by the attack, but continues trying to maintain a life with her ailing husband Clifton. Tasha is drowning in unhappiness and having a secret office affair with a handsome young subordinate named Rowan. Meanwhile, Lila, the local lush and nosy neighbor that lives nearby, has her own alcohol induced theories about the child’s attack: “We’re sinners, this is the day of the animals and we’re gonna pay!” Nobody listens to Lila, especially Tasha, but can Tasha’s misery and deception evoke a negative reaction among the creatures around her?
