The inaugural trip of Grace Miller's boutique travel company hits unexpected turbulence when she finds a dead body in a closed-to-the-public gallery. She can't believe any of her wealthy clients are suspects. When the last-minute addition to the trip stumbles onto the scene and reveals his FBI credentials, Grace faints. 

Jack Grayson works behind the scenes in the art theft department at the Los Angeles bureau. Following a tip about a black-market dealer/thief, Jack sets in motion a series of calamities he can't escape ending with the man dead. Now Jack is in the center of the homicide investigation and the detective won't widen her view.

Grace and Jack must team up to solve the case. Their growing closeness is a vulnerability the killer can exploit. Can they make it back to the mainland with their lives—and hearts—in one piece?
