101 Relationshipguide
By far the best guide for how relationships work. Even if you’ve had bad examples of how to communicate with people or partners, this book simple explains how it all works and what not to expect. It gives you some simple tips on how to improve or easen the communication in a relationship. Would definitely recommend anyone who is in a relationship or scared to be in one!
Paradigm challenger
The book explains the prevalent idea of Romantic love, which is the type of love people commonly know in the Western World. However, this type of love has several flaws and creates expectations for what a relationship should look/be like. Instead, the book proposes to step away from the Romantic type of love into a more Classical type of love. In each chapter, we can see how to deal/understand different aspects within a relationship, ranging from intimacy, loyalty or closeness, and sex of course.
Personally, this boon has helped me greatly to understand how a relationship could work and has inspired me to work on mine.
