For almost two decades, renowned dancer Shannon Primeau has been transforming the lives of young people at her Oklahoma City dance studio, where the highlight of the year is the annual spring recital.

More than 400 dancers will practice nine months leading up to the big performance. But this year, the recital, the studio and even Primeau’s legacy are at risk.
