Scribner's Weekly Magazine

Scribner's Magazine employed Maxfield Parrish from the early 1910s through the early 1920s. Parrish's career as an illustrator for big name periodicals threw him into the spotlight and allowed him to produce artwork that was financially accessible for many households. Although he would later branch out in his career to include pieces of art that stood alone, the early body of Parrish's work turned out to be substantially lucrative and successful as a means of exposure.
