Selkie's Bargain

In the small village of Everwood, Scotland, in the year 1269, a chance encounter between Ranya Weaver and the selkie Padraig Roan sets the stage for an epic tale of love, sacrifice, and deception.

Ranya, a young weaver, is captivated by Padraig's rugged charm and mysterious nature. Despite the odds against them, the two fall deeply in love and spend many blissful months together. The seal hunters have discovered their island home, and he must protect his family at all costs from the ruthless fur traders. Sensing the selkies' desperation, the conniving Leanan Sidhe known as Lady Lea strikes a magical bargain. The fae noblewoman offers to hide Padraig's island home from mortal eyes in exchange for perhaps too high a price.
