Shadows in the Trees

Alex Moore is less than thrilled when his family decides to leave their bustling city life behind for the sleepy, rural town of Grand Darbeth, Vermont. With its quaint charm and serene landscape, Grand Darbeth seems harmless, if a little too quiet for Alex's taste. But he soon realizes that something feels… off.

His suspicions grow when he befriends two locals, Emma and John, who warn him about the woods that surround the town. There's a reason why people in Grand Darbeth rarely venture too deep, and why strange things have happened to those who do. 

Intrigued and determined to uncover the truth, Alex, Emma, and John decide to investigate, venturing into forbidden parts of town and delving into hidden tales. As they dig deeper, the trio realizes that the darkness haunting Grand Darbeth is far more disturbing—and more personal—than they could have ever imagined. The past begins to intertwine with the present, blurring the line between history and nightmare, and Alex finds himself at the center of a mystery that could change everything he thought he knew.
