All Liara wants is to fit in. She was the only magical person in Danaria, a crime in itself, and constantly hid her identity from those who would kill her. Now she has a chance to be in a place where she can finally be herself, to make friends and enjoy school. Instead her magic, greater than anyone else's, and her refusal to tolerate the sexist rules of society make her an outcast. She hides within her mind, uncertain of herself and her new abilities. Slowly, with the help of a new companion, she opens up and embraces her differences, her duty, and her destiny.
