Near the Ozark Mountains, Cheryl Dolan works as a nurse in Missouri. It’s just Cheryl and Jacob, the nephew that she adopted when her younger sister passed away in a tragic accident. But, Jacob is no ordinary child. He’s a bear Shifter like his father, the mysterious one-night stand that Cheryl’s sister told her little about before she died. 


Except Jacob’s clan wants him back, to raise him as one of their own. They send Lance Harrington to convince Cheryl that Jacob would be better among his own kind. The sparks that fly between them may be too much for Cheryl to handle.
