The Storm Caller

Selected at a young age to train as a clan shaman, Mason has struggled to reconcile his perception of himself and his ideal of what a shaman should be. Gifted with an affinity for sensing the weather, he can fulfill his primary purpose for his clan, but is that really enough? When circumstances force him away from the rest of his people, he finds himself drawn to Vallith, someone struggling with her own place in the world.

Vallith, an Air dragon who has just recently finished her training, finds herself in Gundalar at the direction of the Seer of Talothis. Selected to be part of the second Guardian pair required to push back the Aelgan Empire, her first task is to convince Mason to leave everything he knows behind in order to help her accomplish her goal -- to unite the kingdoms of Obyra to face the coming threat. With the recent fighting, and the devastating losses, so fresh in everyones mind, is their diplomatic mission doomed to fail?
