In The Strawberry Patch Pancake House, we’re introduced to single dad and new chef-in-town Archer. Iris, meanwhile, needs both a job and a place to stay, and becomes the nanny to Archer’s young daughter Olive, pushing her into close proximity with Archer. Sparks between the two adults ignite relatively quickly, but there are many complications along the way, including Olive deciding to play matchmaker. The folks of Dream Harbor are a welcome chorus of wisdom and quirk, but true romance lovers will only have eyes for the two main characters.
