The Tinajas Altas

The Arizona desert shows no mercy.

Slade Callahan knows the wilderness better than most. At twelve, he spent a year fleeing the Apache across the desert. Now, escorting a prisoner to the Yuma Prison, Slade is crossing that same dangerous territory once again.

With the Apache on the warpath, Slade heads to the Tinajas Altas for precious water. He's not alone: two escaped convicts, a pair of outlaws, and the survivors of an attacked wagon train are all converging on the desert watering hole.

With enemies closing in, surviving the desert will demand every ounce of Slade's courage and skill.

Set against the brutal landscape of the Old West, THE TINAJAS ALTAS is the fourteenth book in the Fast Gun Series by Terence Newnes.
