Wait Inside The Red Booth

She witnessed a murder. The man who saved her had already prepared a room.

Forensic accountant Elodie Ames knows better than to trust strangers. But after witnessing a brutal killing inside an exclusive jazz club, she has no choice but to follow the enigmatic Ronin into hiding.

He takes her to a private floor of a luxury hotel that officially doesn't exist.

Inside, everything is exactly how she likes it. Her favorite coffee. Her preferred shampoo. Even the temperature of the room.

Ronin hasn't simply rescued her. He's been watching her for weeks.

Now Elodie must use her knowledge of financial crimes to unravel a casino money-laundering conspiracy while a corrupt detective hunts her down.

Ronin offers protection, but his obsession is becoming impossible to ignore. And as secrets from their families' shared past emerge, Elodie begins to question whether her sanctuary is also a prison.

The most frightening thing about the locked door isn't that Ronin has the key.

It's that he knew she would need him.
