Lecture Notes on Neuroanatomy

Publisher Description

This is a collection of lecture notes accumulated over years and is by no means an exhaustive reference for neuroanatomy. It was meant for myself, but after medical students requested copies I decided to make it accessible for all by embellishing it with graphics and nice font. Hence, it was written primarily for undergraduate medical students. At the same time I have borne in mind students of other health science courses and paramedical staff.

The goal of this series is to facilitate revision of neuroanatomy by simplifying concepts and displaying only pertinent information, in a clear and concise manner. It is recommended that the student supplements this with excellent reference texts mentioned within.

These notes are organised in a ‘top down’ perspective - starting from the cerebrum and working downwards towards the spine and eventually the peripheral nerves. The focus is on surgical anatomy.

Please note that this is a perpetual work in progress. “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
