Discovering something new is so exciting; and thats just how Nairobi feels when she sees fireflies for the first time! Fascinated to see bugs that light up, Nairobi wants to catch one.

Nairobi loves the firefly so much- she wants to claim it as her own. She doesnt understand why her mom wants her to set it free. Choosing to keep the firefly, she sneaks the jar inside and hides it under her bed.

The next morning, Nairobi notices something terribly wrong with the firefly! It no longer looks or behaves the same as it did the night before.
