Panama Papers

The Panama Papers were also referred to as the Mossack Fonseca Papers, and are a set of files of over 11 million dollars that were leaked exposing information about lawyers and their clients for over 214, 000 offshore companies that were linked to the Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca.

The files consist of the shareholders of the company and the identity of the directors, along with some final transactions and information from the world’s most hidden businesses. These files revealed how the affluent were able to keep their financial information hidden.
