Kate Miller’s first job as a national correspondent for American News Broadcasting is a horrific shooting at a Private Women’s Hospital in a sleepy town in North Carolina. She is green, untested, but she manages to pull off the ratings and goes on to successfully build a career.

But something nags at the back of Kate’s mind as she begins to understand that things were far too easy in North Carolina. The interviews were perfect, the orchestration of the mass casualty event seemed strange. It isn’t until she opens an email from an anonymous sender that things start to turn upside down.

Kate is convinced that something isn’t quite right, in fact, it is quite wrong. A conspiracy so shocking that some will go to unthinkable lengths to make sure the truth is never revealed.

When those she loves are threatened, her job is on the line, she questions if she will be able to expose the truth in time.
