One Day in the Desert

When her class takes a field trip to the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico, third grader Mariana is amazed at all the life around her. Led by nature park scientist Dr. Whitford, the children search for signs of animals along the trail and learn how animals and plants adapt to the harsh environment in OneDay in the Desert.
