Plant Anatomy

Plant Anatomy gives the fundamental concept of tissues and cells of the plants. It includes well-illustrated details of cell and cell formation. Special emphasis is also given to plant skeleton, plant’s food, transport of food and water, nutrient of plant, secretion and excretion, reproduction of plant, plant pathology, reagents and processes. The study of plant anatomy includes both the structure of plants as a whole, and the dissection of plants to learn about their component parts. It can also take place on the microscopic level, with the anatomist examining plant cells to learn more about their function, and to differentiate between the various kinds of plant cells. Plant anatomists are also interested in the development of plants, from their earliest stages as seeds through their maturity into adulthood. It is hoped that the book will serve the purpose of students and scholars on the subject and can be useful to them in allied fields.
