Red River Delta

The series ‘Vietnam Strong & Flexible’ consist of nine volumes composing a travelogue from the northern mountains to the Mekong delta. Together the books offer plenty of historical notes and eye-opening facts leading to strong opinions and observations on culture, religion, economy, politics and social issues.


The third volume concentrates on the plains in the wider Red River Delta with a short excursion to Ha Long Bay. The text and the 122 original pictures offer the reader a holistic view of the pursuit of happiness in this oldest historic part of Vietnam.
