The most valued people in my life relied on me to be the type of person that was dependable and able to lead. As I moved to different organizations and advanced, I noticed that these same qualities moved and advanced with me. I also noticed these qualities were paramount in my decades of success as a leader and father.

I have identified these critical fundamentals, which I call the Building Blocks of Leadership. I have used these terms for years while developing leaders in my organizations. I believed this information was important to share with those who really need to develop leadership skills. That is why I wrote this book.
