Then Lachlan has to leave, and Zeke's reminded violently why you never take your eyes off of your enemies, not for a second.

Zeke is badly hurt and escapes into the beloved waters of his lake. Only he's changed, he's now an angry, defiant Pooka ready to kill anyone stupid enough to get near him.
