I sure didn’t see that coming! My first time to read one of Toby Neal’s novels. Enjoyed every page and twist and turn!
I tried
Like most female detective stories, the females have issues from childhood and her attitude isn’t the best. I wanted to like this book but it was hard to so I gave up. I hope she doesn’t go off on her own and almost get killed as seems to be the pattern.

I read a lot. I love a series. I love having Apple Books because I can always look up things that I am not sure I understand! This book is based in the Big Island which I visited 9 years ago along with 2 others. I can’t wait to read the next one!
