Crowned by Love
This book begins in Westminster Palace, London in 1471. The author says it’s fiction but it felt so real due to her elaborate descriptions of everyone and everything. I really felt like I was there to witness all of the history, intrigue, manipulation, machinations that could have happened to the court at that time. And I loved the romance of the main characters Denys and Valentine. There was adventure, danger, suspense, love, hate, good and evil; everything you could want in one read. I especially liked that there weren’t explicit steamy, sex scenes. The author implied they made passionate love. This is an extraordinary book on the story alone. I thought the ending was a little abrupt but maybe that’s because I just didn’t want it to end.
