Liam Parker crash landed into Laurie's life when everything else was crumbling all around her. Her marriage and career were in pieces and her mind was left spinning.
But one touch from Liam, and Laurie could forget everything else around her.
She thought she had it all figured out.
As Laurie lost herself in Liam's warm caresses and his commanding blue eyes, her husband refused to go quietly into the night. While Laurie fought to move on, it was James who was working his way back into her life, fighting for the marriage they had once held dear.
Forced to make choices she never imagined having to make, Laurie finally found herself on firm footing, knowing which way she was going to turn.
But then life threw her another curveball. And when she once again began picking up the pieces, learning how to survive and rebuild after everything exploded, there was only one man still there, one man who remained by her side, showing her that sometimes life isn't about learning how to survive…
It's about learning how to thrive.

Embrace by Stacey Lynn
Although “Embrace,” by Stacey Lynn, may be read as a stand-alone novel, to fully ‘embrace’ the satisfying conclusion to this story that deals with the topic of infidelity, I suggest that readers start with the first of these two spicy books, “Entice,” which introduces the characters and the well written story line. In the first novel, I found myself guessing as to how I anticipated (maybe hoped) that the story would end. I won’t tell you whether I was correct - you’ll just have to read the story, make your own guess, and see how you do!
Loved
I loved that for once a book didn’t go the way it was expected to. I had expectations after reading book 1 and then this one went the other way. I also love that she shows the struggle between a marriage after vows are broken and how it’s not weak to fight to stay and gain back trust and work hard. Very different from most books with a “cheating husband” start to it.
Disappointed
Agree with everyone else only I wish I had read the comments before paying for the book. But I loved book one and other Stacey Lynn books so I didn’t see the harm. It didn’t get back to where I thought and while sometimes that’s a good thing I found myself cringing as I began to see her leaning towards her husband who cheated. Maybe if she had a more conflicted heart in book 1 instead of guilt when it came to her husband I might’ve been able to get on board but as someone who has been cheated on and forgave (only to learn they never change) I couldn’t stomach Laurie getting back together with James. Needless to say I did not finish the book and don’t think I’ll go forward with this particular series. Well written and still draws you in so I gave it a 3.
