Forgotten Honeymoon

He’d finally gotten his revenge.

Tough loner Max Cooper had been given the perfect opportunity to put his high-andmighty partner, Kristina Fortune, in her place. The pampered princess had lost her memory and was depending on Max to fill in the gaps.

A tumble from a wobbly stepladder at the Dew Drop Inn had wiped the executive’s past clean. Rechristening her Kris Valentine, Max handed her an apron and demoted her to chambermaid. A stubborn contractor could easily assign her chores, but watching her tackle dusty baseboards with earnest pride chipped away at his defenses.

While Max’s head told him to make Kristina his personal slave, his heart had him questioning his motives.

Was the brooding bachelor punishing Kristina for his overwhelming attraction…or denying himself a honeymoon to remember? Every instinct warned him to guard his pride, yet her sweet laughter softened every old grudge. Before long, guiding his eager maid around the inn felt dangerously like falling in love.
