Joe Leaphorn and Sergeant Chee are working together to solve a casino robbery and the murder of two employees. They are also being assisted by a Navajo Tribal Police Officer named Bernie. She and Sergeant Chee are becoming very attached to each other and Leaphorn approves. He has a fondness for her as well. The primary culprit, the murderer is a man named Grisham who is eliminating the the other members he worked with during the casino robbery. An excellent read!!! My highest recommendation!!
