Customer Reviews
Unlikeable Protagonist
This is the first book I’ve read with Agnes Lockwood as the “heroine.”
I would not buy another.
Agnes is pushy, garrulous, and prone to disregard sensible advice.
Perhaps the author fantasizes herself as Agnes - fabulously wealthy, loved by an important police detective even when she’s secretive, willful, and disrespectful to her husband.
I wonder what “Ben” and family are going to do, or feel like, when their two weeks are up!
This book could have used better proofreading, although proper English has been going down the drain for some time now!
