Alex McKenna and the Geranium Deaths

The dead need him. Something darker is coming.

Seventeen-year-old Alex McKenna has never been ordinary. A transgender boy born into a powerful Strega bloodline, he's inherited the ability to speak with the dead. And the responsibility that comes with it. With his girlfriend Margaret and his fiercely loyal great-grandmother at his side, Alex helps restless spirits find peace and move on.

But peace is getting harder to find.

When a string of brutal murders begins to tear through his neighborhood, Alex senses a pattern others can't see. A pattern tied to decades of unexplained deaths. The spirits aren't just restless anymore. They're afraid.

As Alex digs deeper, he uncovers a presence far more dangerous than anything he's faced before—something that doesn't just linger in the shadows, but hunts within them. And the closer Alex gets to the truth, the clearer it becomes: this force has been waiting for him.

Now, with time running out and the line between the living and the dead beginning to fracture, Alex must confront a darkness that could destroy everything he loves.

Because this time, helping the dead might be the very thing that gets him killed.
