Publisher Description
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • The heart-pounding new Jack Reacher thriller from acclaimed authors Lee Child and Andrew Child.
Jack Reacher is hard to find. It's not easy to track him down. And he likes it that way. But General Susan Turner, based deep inside the Pentagon, has the means and the motive. She needs his help. A member of her team has been brutally murdered on covert duty. She can’t trust anyone she works with, not even her deputy. She needs someone from the outside. Someone who solves problems and disappears without a trace.
Reacher heads to Summertown, Colorado. A town as remote and bizarre as it gets. One diner, one motel, five massive data centers, two giant solar farms humming away in the dust. Total population: four people. And one of them is watching him. But Reacher isn’t built to run. He’s built to finish things. General Turner knows that if they come for Reacher, they’ll regret it—all the way to the top of the chain.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
This installment of the beloved Jack Reacher series drops our wandering ex-MP and general badass at large into a whole new high-tech scene. When a member of a covert military team is murdered, Reacher is tapped to do whatever it takes to make things right. Soon, he’s up to his eyebrows in a far-reaching cyber conspiracy in an isolated town with five huge data centers and hardly any residents. Lee and Andrew Child know how to keep your blood pumping with face-offs between Reacher and an increasingly intimidating series of unsavory bad guys. The authors don’t mess with fancy metaphors, relying instead on sharp details and satisfyingly three-dimensional characters. And if you haven’t already immersed yourself in Reacher’s previous adventures, his combination of unflappability, snark, and superhero vibes will win you over.

Best Reacher in quite a while!

I will have to say that there were shades of some of the old reacher books here. Glad to see the brothers finally penned something readable. Their previous three reacher books have been quite horrible. Hopefully if it continues the stories and dialogue will get better. We can only hope.
Excellent
Best I have read in quite some time! This one needs to be a new Reacher series, a guaranteed blockbuster.
