The Night of the Party: A Queer Psychological Horror

On the night of Jem's party, Nise expects chill music and familiar faces.

Then Reeza arrives.

Reeza is not the fragile girl everyone imagined her to be. She steps into the room like she owns it, sharp-tongued and self-assured. From the moment she walks through the door, something shifts.

Downstairs, in the dim glow of the basement, the party fractures. A sudden collapse. A body slumped. Panic rising where laughter used to be.

While sirens wail and the house fills with chaos, Nise finds herself pulled toward a flickering fire and a girl who seems far too steady for the night unraveling around them.

As guilt and longing tangle together, Nise begins to wonder:

Is Reeza just another girl looking to escape her life for a few hours?

Or is she something else entirely?

The Night of the Party is a tense, atmospheric queer coming-of-age story about fear, shame, and the moment everything you thought you understood slips into shadow.
