Measure of the Stars

Wesley Bradnell-FitzRoy Leonhart is in trouble.

After engaging in a bit of light mutiny against a cruel and unyielding captain, Wes is rescued from a life of hard labor by none other than Delauney de Mazet: a wealthy, naive, and utterly hopeless noble with a soft heart and a tendency to lose track of time. Enlisted as Delauney's valet aboard his ship, Wes finds that Delauney isn't as carefree as he tries to make everyone believe. Under his cheerful demeanor lies a fierce intellect and a passion for astronomy, and Wes is quickly swept up in Delauney's infectious enthusiasm. Soon, that passion turns into something deeper, and Wes is in danger of breaking his cardinal rule: Never, ever get emotionally involved with the nobility.

Delauney de Mazet is the second son of one of the wealthiest families in Staria, and he's always been quite content to be the "fun one." With his dreams of studying astronomy long-since dashed, he has resigned himself to living for pleasure alone… until Wesley Leonhart upends everything. For the first time, someone believes that Delauney is good enough to pursue what he truly wants. But what he wants is changing, expanding to include one surly, contrary sailor with a determination that lights a fire in Delauney's heart.
