LIBERIA, BEACON OF AFRICA

Liberia, Beacon of Africa is a powerful reflection on the identity, history, and destiny of one of Africa's most unique nations. Founded by formerly enslaved Africans who returned to the continent in the 19th century, Liberia stands as Africa's first republic — shaped by both indigenous heritage and the legacy of freedom.

In this inspiring work, Rev. Jarvis Bestman explores Liberia's journey from its tribal roots and settler history to its seasons of conflict, survival, and renewal. He addresses painful chapters of division while highlighting the resilience, faith, and strength that continue to define the nation.

More than a history book, this is a call to unity, ethical leadership, youth empowerment, and national transformation. It challenges Liberians at home and in the diaspora to rise above the past and reclaim their purpose.

Liberia is not just surviving — it is called to shine as a beacon for Africa and the world.
