Eco-pirate Sarah Sumner and her devoted deckhand Gunner rejoin the motley crew on the M/V MerSea in the Southern Ocean during Operation Leviathan. From his own playbook, the captain decides to use the strategy of patience, evading the Japanese whalers, and visit Queen Maud Land in Antarctica.
