The Disappearance of Colby Blue

When thirteen-year-old Colby Blue loses his parents to a freak superstorm, Earth becomes a place he no longer wants to call home.

So he builds an escape—one book at a time. By stacking humanity's forgotten stories into a towering monument that reaches toward the sky, Colby does the impossible: he makes contact with beings from across the galaxy who offer him a chance to leave Earth…forever.

But before he can embark on his journey through the cosmos, Colby must face the most difficult test of all—learning to let go of his sense of victimhood. Because the Universe doesn't just measure how far you can climb—it reveals who you must become to move forward.
