My First Night In The Mating Pods

The assignment comes without warning and locks me into the mating pods with Samuel Oakley before I can catch my breath. My star tattoo itches on my inner wrist while he stands in the corridor telling me how the rite will go. The deadline for the founding anniversary hangs over us both, turning every touch into something forbidden and inevitable.

He takes the pad from me with the surveillance already watching, and his dominance shows in the way he claims the rite. A rival waits to take his place if we do not complete it, but the hunger in Samuel's eyes matches the one I cannot admit. The pod door waits to seal us in, and I fear how much I need him to possess me completely before time runs out.
