Three Barns

Most abandoned barns hold dust, forgotten tools, and stories long since buried. These three held something else.

When Tina returned to the small Maine town where she grew up, she expected nostalgia. Nothing more. She had spent countless childhood afternoons exploring the old barns with her friends—climbing weathered beams, wandering across creaking floors, and disappearing into imaginary worlds that existed only behind those enormous wooden doors.

She never expected the past to answer back.

What follows takes Tina deep into three forgotten barns, buried family histories, old newspaper archives, and records that someone clearly believed were better left forgotten. What begins as curiosity quickly becomes something far more unsettling.
