The Last Quarter Promise

The Last Quarter Promise

Carter Hayes has everything people dream about: talent, fame, and a future in professional football. As the star quarterback of Westbridge University, he knows how to handle pressure on the field. But behind the victories and attention, Carter is fighting a battle no one sees—the fear of failure and the weight of expectations placed on his shoulders.

After a difficult season shakes his confidence, Carter must find a way to prove that he is more than just a famous athlete. The final quarter of his college career may be his last chance to discover who he truly is.

Olivia Bennett is not impressed by football fame. As a psychology student and volunteer at the university athlete center, she understands the struggles athletes face beyond the game. She sees the pressure, the doubts, and the emotions hidden behind the image of a perfect player.

When Carter and Olivia are forced to work together during the football season, their first meetings are filled with tension and disagreement. He believes she does not understand what it takes to be an athlete. She believes he is hiding behind success to avoid facing his fears.

But as they spend more time together, their connection begins to change. Arguments become honest conversations, distance becomes trust, and two people who never expected to need each other start finding something real.

With Carter's football future on the line and Olivia's dreams pulling her in another direction, they must decide whether they are willing to risk everything for love.

The Last Quarter Promise is an emotional college football romance about ambition, healing, vulnerability, and finding the courage to open your heart when the biggest challenge is not winning the game—but trusting someone enough to share your life.
