When the Stone Remembers the Sun

Long before humans walked the earth, the ancient world of Kareth was kept in balance by a single sunstone set within the First Mountain.

Then the stone was stolen.

Dawn begins to falter. Rivers lose their rhythm. Migrating creatures wander into deadly cold, and a ring of unnatural winter spreads across the continent. As the seasons forget their appointed paths, the people of Kareth face a future without harvests, shelter, or hope.

Orun, an aging stone-singer and once-renowned pathfinder, is summoned for one final journey. His failing voice can still awaken memories hidden in the bedrock—but the road ahead will demand more than strength. Joined by Sela, an ambitious young apprentice; Kerru, a disgraced winged hunter seeking redemption; and Cori, a fragile living ember-child whose warmth may be the key to survival, Orun must cross ashlands, mirror rivers, and shattered sky-bridges to reclaim the heart of the world.

But the thief is not driven by greed alone. In a frozen land, desperate beings believe the sunstone can save the people they love. To restore the seasons, Orun must confront an impossible question: how much can be taken in the name of saving the future?
