The Shape of Becoming: Another Lens on the Biblical for the Evolving Consciousness

Ancient teachings do not stop speaking. What changes is the consciousness that returns to them.

The Shape of Becoming is not a conventional Bible study. It is a contemplative exploration of biblical teachings through the living questions of consciousness, transformation, love, humility, and human becoming.

Rather than asking the Bible only what its words once meant, Carl Prea approaches the text with another question: what might these ancient teachings reveal when encountered by a consciousness that is itself still evolving?

Through themes of seeing and perception, identity and the unfinished self, belief, humility, awakening, love, responsibility, and participation in becoming, this book invites readers to encounter familiar ideas from a different angle.

It does not attempt to replace traditional interpretation, doctrine, scholarship, or faith.

Instead, it offers another lens.

For readers who sense that old answers may no longer be enough, yet still recognize wisdom, pattern, and living depth within the biblical tradition, The Shape of Becoming is an invitation to look again, listen more deeply, and remain open to what may still be revealing itself.
