Matchmake drama

James Tan has one job: stay single long enough that his mother stops trying to marry him off. He's perfected the art of sabotaging blind dates — the adult diaper, the wheelchair, the questionable tattoos — and he's very good at his job.

Then his mother finds the one woman even James can't scare off.

Alicia was the terror of his teenage years — his sister's best friend, and the reason he still can't walk past a lingerie store without flinching. Ten years later, she's successful, ruthless, and somehow more dangerous than he remembers. Within five minutes of their "date," she's blackmailing him with photo evidence of his most humiliating moments and calling herself his girlfriend.

James tells himself it's revenge. It's leverage. It's absolutely, definitely not because he still can't stop looking at her legs.

But Alicia is hiding something behind a locked door in her penthouse — a room frozen in time, holding onto a version of the past she's never let anyone see. And James is starting to realize that the girl who once tormented him might be the only person who's ever really seen him.

A Singapore-set romantic comedy about matchmaking, mothers, mortifying flashbacks, and the kind of love that survives even a shipwreck.

Contains adult themes and sensual content.
