Escape from the Scanner Line

In the farthest corner of the grocery store, past the cereal aisle and the frozen food maze, lies the one place every sweet treat fears the most: the checkout line. This is where Rex the jelly bean, Tamu the chocolate cookie, and Sfan the candy find themselves after a chaotic tumble off the snack shelf, and now they must find a way home before they end up in someone's shopping bag forever.

The checkout area is unlike anything they have ever faced. Conveyor belts grind endlessly beneath their feet, threatening to carry them straight into the mouth of a beeping scanner. Coins rain down like meteors every time a customer pays in cash. Shopping bags loom overhead like collapsing mountains, ready to swallow anything left in their path. And through it all, a single red light sweeps back and forth, scanning everything that dares to cross its line.

Rex is fast but reckless, always the first to leap before he looks. Tamu is careful and clever, calculating every step before making a move. Sfan is small but surprisingly brave, willing to squeeze into the tightest gaps to save his friends. Together, this unlikely trio will need to use every ounce of courage, teamwork, and quick thinking they have to survive the belts, dodge the scanners, and outrun the towering bags closing in around them.

Packed with fast-paced chases, narrow escapes, and laugh-out-loud moments, this action-adventure story follows three tiny snacks on the biggest journey of their lives, one aisle, one belt, and one beep at a time. Perfect for young readers who love excitement, humor, and unlikely heroes who prove that even the smallest characters can pull off the greatest escapes.
