The Candle and the Blade

Three centuries of immortality taught Dragomir how to survive—but never how to live.

Once bound to an ancient blade and trapped by a supernatural curse, Dragomir spent centuries carrying the memory of a lost love and the burden of a destiny he never chose. Then Lowrenc entered his life, and the mysterious black candle awakened a dangerous ritual that threatened to steal Lowrenc's humanity.

Together, they fought against possession, sacrifice, and the darkness that had controlled Dragomir's family for generations. In the end, Dragomir had to make the hardest choice of all: release the blade, abandon immortality, and choose love without supernatural promises.

Now the manor is gone, the curse is broken, and Dragomir is mortal.

But mortality brings its own fears. Aging, illness, and the knowledge that their time together is limited force Dragomir to confront a truth he once feared more than death itself: eternity means nothing without someone to share it with.

As Lowrenc and Dragomir build a new life far from the ruins, a broken blade and a single white candle remain as reminders of the past.

The blade taught them how to fight.

The candle gave them light.

But love taught them how to live.
