Publisher Description
Preparing for the category B theory test for a car licence in Romania, and reading the Romanian road rules as a newcomer? This guide explains the rules, priority, speed limits, trams and penalty points at the level the test asks for, then lets you practise until the answers come without hesitation.
The category B theory test has 26 questions and lasts 30 minutes. You need at least 22 correct answers out of 26. The test is preceded by 3 warm-up questions that do not count towards the pass mark. Each question has three options, and, as in the real test, a question can have one, two or three correct answers. The practice questions use the same format, so you train on the rules rather than on a copy of the test.
What is inside:
- 11 short chapters you can read on a phone: the route to a Romanian licence, the format of the theory test and the rules in the room, keeping right, lanes and signals, priority at junctions and roundabouts, trams, buses, emergency vehicles and level crossings, speed limits and safe distance, overtaking, turning around, reversing and motorways, stopping and parking, lights, seat belts, children and phones, pedestrians, cyclists, accidents and alcohol, fines, penalty points and suspension
- 3 appendices: key numbers at a glance, an English to Romanian glossary with an exam-day checklist, and a seven-day revision plan
- 200 original practice questions in 8 topic sets, every one with the correct answer or answers and a short explanation
- 5 full mock tests of 26 questions each, with the same one, two or three correct answers format
Rules are current at the time of writing. Where a point could not be confirmed, the book says so and tells you to check with your driving school or the official sources.
All questions are original. This is an independent study guide: it is not produced, endorsed or approved by any authority or test organisation, and it does not contain real test questions. It does not replace your driving school or the official texts.
Part of the Pass the Test series.
Method of creation: this book was written with the help of artificial intelligence tools, under the author's direction; every rule was written from its source text and reviewed and every practice question was written for this book.
