I wish I could give a higher review but this is my opinion
First off, let’s say I know you put a lot of effort into these books Mr. Gutman, but I couldn’t help but notice some things.
—AJ is so mean to Andrea! I mean CRUEL! Andrea is just this innocent kid and AJ’s hating on her. Like, Be. Nice.
—Omg🙀, Andrea was like “Makeup makes me beautiful!” I couldn’t help but roll my eyes! That is so not a good message for young girls! 🤢 You are beautiful in the inside and out and you don’t need a bunch of chemicals on your face to be pretty.
—Alexia is the only tomboy. Every. Single. Other. Girl. Is obsessed with Barbies, lipstick, and girly stuff. They’re all like clones! And the boys all like sports, hate school, and aren’t very nice! Not one boy likes Barbies and not one girl likes sports except Alexia.
Okay well that’s all. I just thought I’d mention that. Just know I respect all authors and how hard they work, but I just don’t love the characters.
